MS Chesapeake Challenge 2010
Bike MS & Challenge Walk

Check-In: Friday Evening, May 21nd
Day 1: Saturday, May 22nd
Day 2: Sunday, May 23rd

The Maryland Chapter of the National MS Society runs two very large events every year. The Challenge Walk, and Bike MS. Like last year's event, both events will take place on the same weekend. May 22 & 23!

The "Challenge Walk", which attracts hundreds of participants who obtain sponsorship and walk up to 31 miles (50 K) over the course of two days. More information about the event can be found here: http://www.challengew...

The "Bike MS" (formerly known as the MS 150K and the Tour de Shore) is a large cycling event which attracts hundreds of participants who bike up to 150 miles over the course of two days. More information about the event can be found here: http://www.bikemsmary...

Last year, the Bike MS event raised over $400,000 and the Challenge Walk event raised over $140,000! Both events support research into finding a cure for MS and to support those living with MS and their families.

Critters for a Cause will be running a rest stop on both event days to provide nourishment to the walkers and/or bikers at the event. When we're not operating a rest stop, we will return back to the Finish Line and perform in costume during their Saturday night party and closing ceremonies on Sunday afternoon. This is a great opportunity to show how Critters for a Cause can use our powers for good!

Room and board will be provided FREE of charge for Friday and Saturday night. Meals for both event days will be provided FREE of charge! Snacks and beverages during the event will also be provided FREE of charge!

If you have any questions, please feel free to send a message to any of the Organizers or create a post in the discussion board.

Our rest stops were well received at the event, we may not have won the Best Rest Stop award, but the fact that we came so close was a testament to how great of a job we did. Next year, that award will be ours!

Best weekend ever. I'm so sore, I can't walk in a straight line yet. So much fun. Can't wait to do it again.

Was an absolutely wonderful experience! A great weekend, the MS society is one of my favorite organizations to work with and its all because of the people. Truly kind and wonderful people this whole weekend! and a few familiar faces from last year too :D

It was my first running with you guys, and I'm still jazzed by how much fun the weekend was! A great group of folks doing great things and having a blast doing it... I couldn't come up with a much better way to spend a weekend (especially a rainy one)! ;D

I love this! I had such a wonderful time and everyone was very thankful that we were there doing what we do! Thanks everyone for being awesome!

I had a great hosting the rest stop out there on the trail. Lacked a bit on the entertainment side as keeping people's attention, but they were interested here and there and really pushed for us to win best rest stop even though it didn't come in our favor. Heck of time. Busy days, but overall satisfying :)
