Critters for a Cause will be supporting the Fort McHenry 5K Tunnel Run/Walk event to benefit the Special Olympics Maryland on Sunday September 20, 2009! We will help out by supporting the walkers/runners at the start/finish line and may also assist with rest stop services located within the tunnel.

On this special event, the Maryland Transportation Authority will close Bore 4 of the FortMcHenry Tunnel and allow walkers/runners the chance to run inside of the tunnel and back through again.

For those who would like to travel up in the Critter Mobile, I will gladly offer a ride from my place leaving at 7:30 am on Sunday morning. Although the event is sponsored by the MDTA, they are not waiving the toll for volunteers or participants traveling Northbound. If you are interested in carpooling to/from the event, you are welcome to use my place in Columbia as a park and ride.
