Greetings Critters!

The Holidays are right around the corner and the organizers of Critters for a Cause are planning for something big! Critters for a Cause has sent in an application to be in the annual Historic Leesburg Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 12th! This is a great opportunity to get some great exposure for our group and to have a lot of fun at the same time!

The annual Holiday Parade attracts thousands of spectators from all around the area and is the kick-off for the Holiday Festival. The festival will take place throughout downtown Leesburg and feature fun for the whole family. Carolers, carriage rides, ice carving, games, rides and of course Santa and friends will all be part of this great celebration. Critter photos with Santa anyone?

In order for us to participate, the Leesburg parade organizers require that our vehicle, the Critter Mobile, be decorated in a holiday or winter theme. In order to purchase the graphics, decorations, give-aways and fuel, we need your help to meet our fundraising goal. If we cannot meet our goal, we won't be able to participate in this awesome event!

I am asking you, a member of Critters for a Cause, help the group to achieve this goal. Reach out to your friends and family and ask them to help us reach our goal of $400 so that Critters for a Cause can participate in this fun event. Give a little, or give a lot, any contribution big or small will help towards our goal!

Here is a breakdown of where the $400 will be spent.

$110 - Vinyl graphics for the Critter Mobile (our new logo!)
$100 - Critter Mobile Christmas Decorations (lights, wreaths, garland etc.)
$ 50 - Give-away items, like buttons or handouts for the crowd
$140 - Diesel for the Critter Mobile, round trip to Leesburg and gas for the parade

This event has been created to allow you to send in a contribution electronically. The suggested amount to raise per member is $20.00, but you are welcome to send more or less. For those who would like to send cash, check, or a money order, please make your checks payable to Cash or "Oryx Gazella" and write "Leesburg Parade" in the memo field and mail your check to the address of this Meetup.

We need to reach our goal by the end of the November to allow for two enough time to decorate the ambulance and order the give-away/handout items.
